Question: Retired male experiencing severe cramps in hands

I am a retired 61 year old male. I live in WV. I spend most of my time working on rehabbing the house my wife and I bought several months ago.

Unfortunately, I have been experiencing severe cramps in my hands during the day (sometimes, but not always, while working on something). These cramps last anywhere from a few seconds to 30 minutes. I try to stay hydrated while working, drinking water or Gatorade.

I would like to know what is causing these cramps and how to avoid or minimize their occurrence. Also, is there something I can do to make them go away more quickly.

  1. hi..
such cramps usually occur either due to calcium or vitamin deficiencies. since you are hydrated well, i suggest you to take calcium and vitamin supplements. drink lots of fresh fruit juices.
    thanks

  2. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Ice your wrist for 10 to 15 minutes 1 or 2 times an hour. Use a wrist split at night
