Do my nails show that I have kidney disease?

I`m 23 years old male, and in last couple of days I noticed that my nails are half white and half pink. I found on Internet that this half-half color indicate kidney failure. I don`t have any other symptoms of kidney diseases. Is this true and could this be sing of kidney failure?

  1. it seems less likely to be kidney disease.

get urine and blood kidney function tests done

  2. Thanks for your question.

In my opinion does not seem to be the case.

Signs of renal failure may include:

Decreased urine output, although occasionally urine output remains normal
Fluid retention, causing swelling in your legs, ankles or feet
    Drowsiness
    Shortness of breath
    Fatigue
    Confusion
    Nausea
Seizures or coma in severe cases
    Chest pain or pressure

    Good luck
