My 22 year old son had his aortic valve replaced with a mechanical one last year.
His L 4-5 disk just went out yesterday.

Can he receive acupuncture treatment to deal with the pain?

I don’t think it’s contraindicated or not preferred if u mean to be at risk of infective endocarditis for example…
As it’s not an invasive procedure…

Accupuncture has no I’ll effects on heart rather recent studies have shown accupuncture can be beneficial in heart problems..

He can go for it..
