Mild discomfort and then mild pain in belly button region when I press that region?

57 yr. old male mild discomfort and then mild pain in belly button region when I press that region,take pantaloc and allupurinol daily.Do not have black or bloody stool,no nausea or vomiting no weight loss,appetite is good no fever. Periodically burning in kidney region.Do not smoke(quit 30 years ago).Do drink less now but have drank heavily in the past.

  1. Belly button region pain is a side effect of allupurinol
    Also pain in kidney region can be caused by allupurinol if you do not drink enough water with it
    I suggest you see your Urologist

    In my opinion belly button pain is caused by upper GI inflammation and esophagitis..
    Drink plenty of water and stick to a healthy stomach diet .
    Have you been diagnosed with hiatal hernia ever?

  3. Yes I have been diagnosed with hiatal hernia,it also seems odd but when I look down it appears that the left side of my stomach is slightly more disdented.

    this indicates intestinal inflammation or infection.
    Take pre and probiotic tablets along with anti spasmodics.
    get a usg abdomen done if symptoms do not get relieved.

    THIS CAN INDICATE GASTRITIS OF EARLY PANCREATITIS.
    GET ULTRASOUND ABDOMEN AND IF NEEDED,AN ENDOSCOPY DONE.
    TAKE ANTI INFLAMMATORY MEDICINES

    These are signs of IBS.
    take anti spasmodic medicines. eat more of curds and avoid lactose diet.
    milk and dairy products should be avoided.
