I’ve had three lots of tablets for pleurisy I’ve also got grade 3 asthma I went for a chest x-ray they said that was fine, but I still have a wheezing cough and pains in my back, should I go back to docs for more tablets? Don’t want more if they don’t work. Please help
What kind of tablets are you taking and what dose ?
Anyway with grade 3 asthma tablets only help not cure
So expect some residual pain and wheezing

If I were you I would go back to the doctor for follow up ad the specialist will help you figure out the degree of narrowing in your airway by doing a simple test.
It needs further treatment with medications and cough training as well as breathing exercises are good.

i still feel that there is some amount of bronchospasm that is present.
In my opinion,you need to take bronchodilators for few more days.

chest xray won’t show any abnormalities when you have bronchospasm. get spirometry done to assess the lung functioning capacity.
ct chest will help rule out other abnormalities.
