I recently had my tattoo removal surgery for 4th session, is it Hypertropic scar or keloid?
I am 17 years male from southeast Asia. I recently had my tattoo removal surgery for 4th session. I seems to be itching for few days but a muscle like swelling occurred on that part after 1 week. I searched in internet and knew it could be Hypertropic scar or keloid. Please help me. I am very scared about that. It would be your greatest help if anyone could tell me what it is. I have attached the picture
In my opinion this looks like a dermatitis due to the sessions you are getting to remove it.. Try antihistaminic OTC and topical steroids to treat it..does not seem like scar..

In my opinion this is a Hypertropic scar , I recommend compression, after redness is gone you can use contratubrex

not a typical keloid. don’t worry.
due to repeated sessions,the skin has become inflammed and hypertrophied.
take anti inflammatory tablets with fibrinolytic enzymes like trypsin,rutoside,serratiopeptidase.
anti biotics may be needed if it does not show improvement.
apply anti histaminic -steroid based cream.

injections are the standard ttt
