I noticed a burning sensation on my side, the redness spread and turned red/purple and still spreading?
Female 36: I noticed a burning sensation on my side a few days ago. There was a red bump and that was all. Next day the redness spread and turned red/purple.. I outlined it with a pen. This morning I noticed a white area around the red and the whole thing is one massive whelp. I circled it and now the area outside of the circle is spreading, but it’s white and raised off the skin. I don’t know if this is a bite, Cellulitis, MESA or what? Opinions?
First possibility is lyme disease as u discribed it started by red pump look for signs as headache and fever use doxycycline if non then it could be hiv infection which can lead to AIDS usually body can fight it alone but take it seriously
My assumptions are based on posdiblity that you had a mosquito bite or some insect bite
Could be just contact dermatitis if your sure you have not been bitten by any insect
Also look for sore throat and fever if non you are safe

It looks like an allergic reaction to an insect bite…
Apply antihistaminic point and cold water washing thoroughly ..it should go on its own.
If any other changes happened please tell me.
Is is itchy or did you scratch it?
Is there a recent history of recent insect bite or contact?

insect bite or allergic reaction seems to be a possibility. apply anti histamine steroid local cream. take anti allergic tablets if needed.
