I have athlete’s foot on the hands and feet or eczema?

I am a 15 year old female and I’m not sure if what I have is athlete’s foot on the hands and feet or eczema. It first started about 2-3 weeks ago.
Currently, I have tiny itchy blisters(with a clear inside)everywhere on my hands except the back of the hands(not including the fingers),and the first joints of the front of each finger and thumb(where you usually grab things with). The most concentrated blisters are located on my palm, the sides of my fingers and the back of the fingers, mostly on the back of the upper two joints of the fingers, stopping just before the nail. These areas aren’t red. Once I scratched a part, and it became red.
I also currently a similar condition on my feet. The right feet has faint blisters, on the left side of it.The blisters, however, are not clear like the blisters on my hand. My left foot has had athletes foot between the 2nd and 3rd, 3rd and 4th, and 4th and 5th toes, which has been cured by antifungal cream. My left foot, currently, has light peeling skin on the light red rash(wih small blisters like my right foot) on the sole of the foot. It has not been itchy, unlike my hands. There has also been a slight peeling of skin just below the toes

I have used different types of antifungal cream (such as bifonazole, clobetasol propionate ointmnet, and currently micronazoli nitras), however, with no results on my hands.
I am allergic to crab and prawn, and may have something called heat hives.

  1. hi
this does seem to be an eczema. antifungal creams wont help. u need to use topical anti histaminic and steroid based creams. take anti allergic tablets too to reduce the itch. avoid the concerned parts to be exposed to extremes of temperature and friction. your skin may be very sensitive.
consult a dermatologist if symptoms do not improve.
    thanks

  2. HI
THE DESCRIPTION THAT U DESCRIBED SEEMS TO BE OF A ATHLETES FOOT. PEOPLE HAVING OVERSENSITIVE AND ROUGH SKIN ARE MORE PRONE TO DEVELOP IT. MAINTAININIG PROPER HYGIENE AND CLEANING IT DAILY IS THE MAINSTAY OF THE TREATMENT. U MAY NEED TO CHANGE THE CREAMS THAT U HAVE BEEN APPLYING AFTER CONSULTING A SKIN SPECIALIST

  3. Hi..
That is mostly athletes foot… Nothing more..antifungals will not help..avoid dryness drink plenty of water and consult a dermatologist for creams that helps you without causing an allergy for your skin..
    Regards

  4. hello there
atheletes foot seems to have got a secondary bacterial infection. less likely to be an eczema as the eczema lesions are somewhat different from the ones you are having. get a second opinion from a good dermatologist. oral antibiotics will help the lesions heal faster
