I have a rash, thought it might be some type of fungus, doc says ringworm?

45 yr old female, no medications. About four weeks ago I noticed a rash on my inner thigh. It doesn’t itch or burn. I thought it might be some type of fungus so I put Athletes foot cream on it but it go worse. I went to the doctor and they said its ringworm and told me to put the same athletes foot medication on it but now it’s spreading. Do you know what this could be?

  1. In my opinion this is contact dermatitis, i suggest use on hydrocortisone cream
    And diphenhydramine
However if this does not help
Then you should see a professional dermatologist and stop all treatment immediately

    Good Luck

steroid based creams will be helpful.
try changing the soap that you use.

VIRAL INFECTION SEEMS TO BE THE MOST PROBABLE CAUSE.
IF NO ITCHING IS PRESENT,THEN IT RULES OUT A POSSIBILTY OF FUNGAL INFECTION.
SKIN MOISTURISING CREAMS,OLIVE OIL WILL BE HELPFUL
    CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST
