I have a mass in my parotid gland, Is it a cyst, tumor, malignant or benign?
I need a second opinion asap! This mass is deep in my parotid gland on facial nerve. Causes excruciating pain of jaw, teeth and ear. There is also clear fluid leaking from ear. Is it a cyst, tumor, malignant or benign?

Actually the picture is not clear at all…
if there is a mass over the parotid gland and the facial nerve this should be examined directly by an ENT specialist as it May be just as a result of inflammation or infection in your ears.,, or other causes … being malignant or benign should be known by examination or a puncture that shows what exactly is inside it…

THIS CAN BE ANYTHING. YOU GOT TO CONFIRM IT BY DOING FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS LIKE BIOPSY HISTOPATHOLOGY

it seems to be a well encapsulated cyst. but unless a biopsy is done, malignancy cannot be entirely ruled out as early stages of malignancy also look same.
the biopsy can be sent for histopathology to see for any tumour cells.
