I had an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and meniscal repair in my right knee back in 2013, relapse?

Hi,
I had an acl and meniscal repair in my right knee back in 2013
I had completed all my rehabilitation program. And I’ve been involved in normal sports like running and basketball again.
Only yesterday, I have been having pain on the anteromedial side above the scar tissue where the surgery was. It happened after I was walking for exercise.

  1. Hi..
    Thanks for the query..

There is a possibility of over-exertion and moderate injury to the area and not and deep injury..
For now you can apply muscle relaxant gel in that area and take a combination of painkiller and muscle relaxant..
You can also avoid too much workout or exertion..

Watch for 3-4 days and if does not improve consult your Physician for a clinical examination..

    Hope this helps..

    Regards..
