I had a treadmill stress test the other day and my heart rate went up to 130+?

I had a treadmill stress test the other day and my heart rate went up to 130+ in 90 seconds. They stopped the test. I was very short of breath during the test because I was in Afib. They also took a ECG. The doctor on call later said not enough blood was getting to my heart. My question is would the Afib cause that?

  1. Hi..
Yes, Again or Atrial Fibrillation can be a cause that can cause lack.of blood to heart..
Consult a Cardiologist and get evaluated..
Investigations like Echocardiography, ECG, Chest x ray can be done for further confirmation and treatment can be done according to the severity..

    Hope this helps..

    Regards..
