I had a small swelling in the right breast, Is this lymphadenopathy significant
I m a 22 year old female I had a small swelling in the right breast 14*9mm .. with non specific axillary lymph node 22*8 mm on rt and 20*5 on the left. Is this lymphadenopathy significant.. but from d impression of us it says it’s a fibroadenoma of BIRADS 3? I want to know if the lymphadenopathy is significant and if is so.. whats the probable reason for it being on b.s
fibroadenoma bi rad 3 means your doctor is not sure if it is benign or cancerous
If you have lymphadenopathy then you should take it seriously
I suggest seeing an oncologist for further investigation
Good Luck
hi
bilateral lymphadenopathy with swelling in breast is definitely significant.
get a mammogram and tumor markers in blood checked.
consult a surgeon
HI
IT MAY BE A FIBROADENOMA,A BENIGN TUMOR. DONT WORRY. BUT MALIGNANCY CANNOT BE ENTIRELY RULED OUT ONLY BY CLINICAL HISTORY.
GET MRI BREAST DONE.
hello there
seems to be more of a well encapsulated simple cyst, most probably an adenoma. keep a watch on its size . if it increases in size or becomes more painful, then it needs agressive treatment. at present get lymph node biopsy done.
