I am starting to suspect that I may have some circulatory issues?
Hi, I was wondering if you could have a look at my attached file and provide some feedback.
I am starting to suspect that I may have some circulatory issues, even though I am slim, non-smoker/non-drinker, do exercise, and was an ex-athlete (middle/long distance runner).
Medications: Amirol 25
(unpublished file attached)
You have undergone numerous tests which by now would have shown if you had circulatory problems. Your tests would also have ruled out many other possible problems normally associated with these symptoms.. Yes Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) could be a possibility. But in my opinion, these issues are related to anxiety and stress. I think it is best you invest time and energy in relaxation techniques. Such as meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, etc. Take some time off from your business and try to relax. Being in business at times takes a toll on our health.
If it is just anxiety as you suggest, could you explain why my legs, arms/chest, neck/head/face get into spasm when I am asleep, and then wake up feeling uneasy/nauseous esp with chest/ arm tightness ?
And also why this could happen too when I am sitting down relaxing ?
Stress and anxiety can directly affects muscles (spasms), heart (chest pain and heartbeat) and stomach (nausea)
Hi Dr Ernesto,
I agree that anxiety can have an effect on the physically affecting various body systems/organs.
My question-for which I have not seen a reply, is why does most of this happen when I am asleep or simply sitting down/relaxing ?
i.e. when the mind/body should theoretically be in a more calm state ?
Stress and anxiety produces hormones which in turn affect the body. So whether you are at rest or not really doesn’t matter. It is a hormonal state. Not a physical state. Hormones are at work around the clock.
