It seems like a skin injury only so all what you need is to keep the wound clean and dry..
Use betadine to clean it from time to time avoid humidity or socks.. Rest and elevation is good if swelling appears..use bee honey over the wound as dressing if there is any open wounds…
It is not clear in the picture about what exactly the treatment done was…
Has he any fractures ? Or joint problems?..
