I am 35 years old and for the last month I have had pain on both sides of my ribs on the back side. It’s painful and when I stretch or twist it pops or cracks and is very painful when it happens. It happens around 10 – 15 times a day.

In my opinion you have slipping rib syndrome
It is treatable
I recommend you see an orthopedic
Untill then stay on anti inflammation
Good Luck
Hi and welcome to question doctors .com
Most cases that comes to my clinic with these pain are diagnosed as muscle spasm and inter vertebral joint stiffness due to bad posture and weakness.
A chiropractor and a physiotherapist can handle this through evaluation of muscles and designing a short term treatment program.
hi
this can occur due to intercostal nerve pain.
take analgesics,methycobal tablets .
apply local analgesic sprays and do hot fomentation.
if this does not help, then get a chest Xray AP view.
thanks
HI
MOST PROBABLY DUE TO MUSCLE WEAKNESS AND SPASMS.
STRETCHING EXERCISES AND MUSCLE RELAXANT TABLETS WILL BE HELPFUL.
hello there
mostly appears to be muscular but referred pain due to slipped disc also needs consideration.
get mri of cervical spine and the painful part done.
