Do I have Lupus or some chronic viral infection?

Hi I am a 28 years old female with ongoing health problems for 6 years. At first it was only urinary infection followed by, what doctor told me, is only IBS. Year after year I felt worse. Body aches, back, hips, knees and ankles with swelling. Then my muscles started to hurt I felt a lot of stifness and weakness. Chronic fatigue, chronic bowel problems, urinary problems, sleep sweats, not being able to stand for long time, can’t stand heat. Nausea, sweating, pelvic pain, bowel pain, redness on my face after taking a bath. No medications. My results in a past year and I’ve done them few times were like this, everything good but these:

urine amylase from 1600 to 1900

lymphocites around 62%

neutrophil granulocyte around 32%

RDW 10

vitamin D only 5

blood creatinine 84umol

urine protein was saying only +++ high

My doctor asked for more results including ferritin, calprotectin, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, ALT, AST, GGT. But I have to wait for a month to go and see her, can you please help me and tell me what could it be just by looking at these symptoms and results. One doctor told me it could be Lupus or some chronic viral infection

  1. In my opinion your tests and symptoms can explain chronic renal failure (kidney problem )
Other possibilities as pancreatitis is possible
I do not see signs of lupus
Also can not confirm any viral ir bacterial infection

    Good Luck

  2. For me ..it seems to be pancreatitis ..
    Other possibility is thyroid dysfuntion.
Thyroid profile can show something and Abdominal ultrasonohraphy.
Does nor seem an infection like.

  3. I forgot to write my MRI of abdomen and pelvis was clean, thanks for your answers. Nothing on pancreas, lipase normal blood amylase level normal

  4. Hey Ann..
Well then I think multiple systems involvement is related to thyroid or parathyroid hormonal disturbances.
To a some degree your symptoms are stress related also.
    Thanks..

  5. hi
does not seem to be lupus.
more of chronic viral infection affecting multiple systems in body.
generalised hormonal imbalance also seems to be associated with the symptoms.
an endocrinologist’s opinion will be of help.
    thanks

  6. HI
ENDOCRINAL DISTURBANCE AFFECTING THE PRIMARY VITAL ORGANS OF THE BODY SEEMS TO BE THE CAUSE.
ELECTROLYTES NEED TO BE CHECKED AND PLASMAPHORESIS NEEDS TO BE DONE

  7. hello there
i do not find any possibility of a lupus infection.
however thyroid and chronic viral infection seem to be the possibilities in this case.

  8. Any other symptoms after bath, such as increased fatigue and/or pain, do you start to sweat profusely?
Have you been tested for Lyme disease? Google Lyme disease symptoms to see if this might be a possibility.
    Good luck.

  9. not pain but very sweaty after showering and generally not feeling good when in heat or sun and sometimes I have really bad sun burnes that lasts for days in patches
