Did I dislocate my shoulder while bodybuilding?
I am 22 years old , Male.
From 4 years ago I had this issues near my shoulder it looks like it line that link neck to the bone I just don’t know what to call it , However i have no pain in this area but i love bodybuilding and it just destroy how the body look.
I remember how i got it , it was from a wrong movement when i start bodybuilding I used a heavy weight while I was doing DUMBBELL SIDE BEND i should move hips when doing DUMBBELL SIDE BEND but i was using my arm not hips , the next day i notice it in a mirror.
it doesnt seem to be a shoulder dislocation. its something related to acromioclavicular joint. wrongly done gym exercise can cause this. get a xray done of the part to see whats wrong.
avoid doing strenous gym exercises.
do not sleep on the affected shoulder
IT SEEMS TO BE A SUBLUXATION, AND NOT A DISLOCATION. THE JOINT IS JUST PARTIALLY DISLOCATED. YOU NEED TO GET AN MRI OF THE SHOULDER JOINT TO SEE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE JOINT CAPSULE AND THE SURROUNDING LIGAMENTS.
STOP LIFTING DUMBELL FOR SOME DAYS
it doesnt seem to be dislocation. it may be overriding of the surrounding muscles/ligaments due to awkward position while lifting dumbell. take muscle relaxant tablets and apply local gel. gentle outward massage should be done twice a day.
consult a orthpedician if you have no relief from above measures
Probably a guarding spasm and sublaxated shoulder joint… Do not over load your muscles… Train by repetition rather than weight increasing.
Use ice packs then hot packs after 3 days.. Ant inflammatory gel..
And avoid lifting on this joint for a week then start gradually …
