Can scar tissue from a tummy tuck (10 years ago) affect the results of a transvaginal ultrasound?

Can scar tissue from a tummy tuck (10 years ago) affect the results of a trans vaginal ultrasound???

Will it miss a fetus of about 13-20 weeks old???
I read that the scar tissue can interfere with the sonic waves.
Is this true

Blood and urine tests are negative.

Age: 45
Female
Medications: Female – allergie and medium for stomach
General Information: I had a tt 10 years ago
I have been feeling movements in my lower abdomen,
My belly is a little bloated but if I am pregnant I can’t tell cause of the tt.

My periods are irregular
And the last one was very lite

If the scar tissue can affect it, how?

  1. Ultrasound does have some limitations with air and gas filled organs and it may not be able to penetrate bone nor be used for evaluating the actual scar itself, however a transvaginal ultrasound will not miss a 13 week fetus.
