Back pain for a month now, ct scan shows no stone, nothing seems to help?
I am a 29 year old female and I have experienced back pain for about a month now.. My back started hurting so bad I thought maybe it was a Kidney stone and went to the ER. They done a CT Scan and it wasnt a stone and the dr in the ER said that some people just have back pain. The pain eased for about a week or so and it is back to hurting just as bad it is in my lower / middle of my back almost feels like the pain is even in my spine. Should I go to a family doctor or try to suffer through this horrendous pain? I have used a heating bad and OTC medication to try and relieve the pain but nothing seems to help.
this seems to be related to your lumbar spine. you should get a xray of lumbar spine to see for spondyltits or signs of intervertebral disc prolapse. instead of consulting a family physician, you should consult a orthopedist and get the condition diagnosed. Use lumbar belt till then.
THIS MAY BE POSTURAL BACK PAIN,ASSOCIATED WITH PARASPINAL MUSCLE SPASM. SPONDYLITIS AND OTHER ASSOCIATED PATHOLOGIES RELATED TO THE SPINE NEED TO BE RULED OUT. XRAY AND MRI SHOULD HELP IN LOCALISING THE PATHOLOGY.
TAKE MUSCLE RELAXANT TABLETS. BACK EXERCISES WILL HELP
spondylosis, disc prolapse.spine infections, listhesis are the causes that need to be ruled out. these symptoms are not related to any abdominal pathology. consult a orthopaedic surgeon or a spine specialist and get the necessary investigations done.
Hi and welcome to careproper.com
This type of back pain usually caused either by a lumbosacral spines disorder or a gynaecological origin…
The pain needs to be correlated to other symptoms of menstrual period disorder or abnormality..or may be pain in your lowerlimbs..
You need to get an xray initially and see an orthopedist..a MRI may follow to rule out disc lesion… If back is fine then I think you gave to find the cause in uterus or ovaries with a gynaecologist..
