Question: 23 year old with hypothyroidism…involuntary jerking in leg, arms and head?
I am 23 years old with a PMH of hypothyroidism. I have recently began having involuntary jerking which begin in my legs and has spread to my arms and most recently, my head. I also easily get very achy in my limbs and difficulty sleeping. Is this anything to be concerned about?
hi..
i dont think this may be related to hypothyroidism unless the thyroid levels are grossly deranged and affect your nervous system. its not alarming and to be concerned about, but still, i suggest you to consult a neurologist for an opinion to see whether its liked to any intra cranial pathology . thanks
